Tom Croft was born and raised in Hagerstown, Maryland. After graduating from North Hagerstown High School he attended and graduated from Hagerstown Community College. He went from HCC to study at the University of Maryland for two years. After attending the University of Maryland he was employed as a Business Analyst for Dun and Bradstreet. At the age of 30 he decided he wanted a new career and went back to school at the Maryland College of Art & Design.
After art school he completed his internship and opened a design/advertising agency Croft & Woodard in Rockville, Maryland which was in business for 13 years. Following that he worked for Pinnacle Printing as the manager of electronic prepress operations. From there he moved to JTM International where he handled the marketing and various company web sites for their numerous divisions.
Three years ago he decided it was time to start giving a little back to the community and became the Web Design instructor at the Career & Technology Center for Frederick County Public Schools.
Tom has been married for the past 36 years and has 2 children and 1 grandchild. He has resided in Middletown for the past 20 years.
